Strawberry Plants

There is no substitute for fresh picked strawberries straight from your garden or allotment. Choose a sunny, sheltered site for your strawberry plants and grow in light fertile soils, containers, grow bags or even hanging baskets. Mulch annually in Spring with good garden compost and apply a balanced general feed. Plant strawberries 30-45 cm apart in the ground. Generally, renew plants after 3 seasons to maintain yields and reduce pest and disease problems.
