Trained fruit trees

A useful way of growing fruit trees and bushes where space is limited and where existing garden structures such as walls and fences can be used. Fans have a minimum of 5 arms and espaliers a minimum of 2 tiers with a central leading shoot for further training. Tripod trained fruits are grown on the nursery with a minimum of 3 stems up a tripod of canes.   The basic shapes are to be found below but many other shapes can be created by the enthusiast with a little time and patience.

Our selection of trained fruit changes throughout the season. Please contact us for details.
